I seem to be having terrible mood swings lately. I have been prescribed bupropion last week. Is it the result of it?

Dear lybrate-user, Why was bupropion prescribed for you? It may be for depression. It might take 2-3 weeks to take antidepressant action. Till then your mood will not be stabilised. Occasionally, you may have a manic switch, if you have bipolar depression and you were prescribed bupropion without any mood stabiliser. Contact your doctor earlier than the date given to you.
