Hi, Can wisdom tooth grow after the age of 30. I have one hard look like tooth growing for last 8 to 10 month at upper right corner of my mouth. I tried to see it but couldn't as its growing top last of upper side. Its stop growing and in same size for last almost 6 months. Its not hurting me in any manner but just curious to know how long it takes to complete it because it happened in my left upper side also and took many years to complete it.

If you go through a book it says 17 to 25 years is the age for tooth to grow.. completely ..but mostly in my clinical knowledge .. it erupts even after 30 ... Depending on the space available there .. don't worry .. the eruption keeps coming and going ..till tooth erupts fully .. you may get an x-ray done to understand the underlying situation ..

Consult a dentist nearby and take proper check up instead of relying on assumption as without examining we cannot diagnose.

Wisdom teeth usually make their appearance between the ages of 17 and 21, though it's possible for them to push through earlier or later. Referred to as your "third molars, these four teeth begin to push through the skin like any other tooth, which can cause pain. However, wisdom teeth are much more likely to grow in at an incorrect angle ? even sideways ? causing impaction that can radiate this pain to the teeth in front of it. Kindly get it extracted as soon as possible.
