Along with other antipsychotic medicines I am taking mirtazapine 7.5 and clonazepam 1 mg for depression. I want to stop either one of the above. Which medicine should I stop. I am getting good sleep at night. Morning when I get up feel drowsy. Tnks.

You can stop clonazepam as it's not an antidepressant. This will decrease the excess drowsiness the next day.

Dear Sriram, You can stop clonazepam and see. If you can not, try for 1-2 weeks with 0.5 mg and then stop. Mirtazapine will help you to sleep better. In schizophrenia, you need mirtazapine only for few months in a year, only during clinical depression unlike continuous antipsychotic.
