Sir. My mother is diabetes patient. She feel very weakness. Please suggest some multivitamin tablets or home remedies to get rid from weakness. Currently we give her ryzodeg insulin and novorapid at afternoon. She is also having depression and insomnia problems.

Mr Amit, Thanks for the query. When blood glucose is not well controlled, (> 180 mg/100 ml), some amount of glucose is lost in the urine. If patient has very high glucose level then more of it is lost, leading to weakness and lethargy, tiredness etc. It is important to achieve a good glucose control with fasting glucose closer to 100 mg, PP 170 to 180 mg & HbA1c% < 7. If these parameters are achieved, invariably there will be hardly any weakness. I am sure she must be already on some vitamin supplements. You may look at giving some protein supplements with treating doctor's consent. Thanks.
