My current tsh is 0.20 uiu/ml (normal range 0.3 to 5.5). Hba1c 9.4. I hv type 1 iddm since last 33 years. Taking thyronorm 50 mcg. Is d dose fine or b reduced. please advice.

Mr Ashok Kumar , Thanks for the query. With adequate dosage of Levothyroxine TSh is usually maintained around 3 to 4 mU/L TSH 0.2 mU/L is a bit lower. There appears to be a need for reduction of dosage by about 12.5 mcg per day. Then check TSH after 6 weeks, to see the change in TSH. Thanks.
