Dear doctor, I am using telmaxx 25 mg tabs for bp, methimez--5 mg for graves mild hyperthyroid (present tsh is 1.0),afternoon when I wake up from sleep I get palpitations, slowly they settle after some time. I get only during afternoon sleep, so endocrinologist told to use telmaxx 50 mg tabs. Will I get adjusted to telmaxx 50 mg? I am using telmaxx 25 mg since all these months, will I feel any side effects, since my doctor is not local.

Hello, thanks for the query. The palpitation are due to hyperthyroidism. Metoprolol 25 mg is probably not controlling those. So the doctor has asked yoy to increase the dosage to 50 of metoprolol. That should help. So please do take those. Thanks.
