I have thyroid and taking thyronorm 75. I am regularly having exercises viz. Cardio 40 to 50 mins and gym 20 to 30 mins. My blood sugar is also remains on border line between 105 to 120 fasting without any medicine. My question is whether I may have protein supplement as I feel exhausted after daily exercises and being a vegetarian and having normal food and a milk.

Thanks for the query. As you are having hypothyroidism, it is essential to maintain tsh around 3 to 4 mu/l, at that level all the symptoms are in check. Therefore, please see that tsh is maintained around that value. As regards blood glucose the values show you are in pre-diabetic state. Have you cheked the pp glucose level and hba1c%? It is important to know those values too. Because for a non diabetic person and one with well controlled hypothyroidism, tiredness or feeling exhausted after exercise is unlikely to happen. For protein supplementation eggs are a good choice (provided if you take), or there sre specific high protein containing products also available. Thanks.

It is better to take proteins in natural form like milk, egg chicken fish if you are non veg. Bit if veg. Then milk, and its products, pulses are good. Keep your tsh between 2 & 3. Avoid sweets and sugar.
