Lybrate-user ji, thanks for the quer. Thyronorm is equivalent to natural hormone t4 (thyroxine), only thing is that it is aynthetic version of the same. In almost all the persons on levothyroxine there are hardly any side effects seen. However, following side effects may be seen: increased appetite, weight loss, heat sensitivity, excessive sweating, headache, hyperactivity, nervousness, anxiety, irritability, mood swings, trouble sleeping tiredness, tremors, muscle weakness, changes in menstrual periods, hair loss (usually temporary) diarrhea, vomiting, stomach cramps, usually hardly any side effects are observed.
