I am going through depression. I had uvox 50 mg. Instead of improving my condition became worse after having it. Why this happened? I consumed only 1 tablet of uvox. I have read on practo that this medicine is very dangerous. Is it so? Please explain.

Dear mam uvox is not a dangerous medicine, it is a relatively safe medicine give in depression and ocd. Like all medication, it had certain side-effects but those can be managed effectively. If it is not helping you, discuss with your psychiatrist. Antidepressant takes at least 2 weeks time to start showing an effect. So if it is recently started, then it is recommended that you wait for at least 2 weeks. If so not effective, discuss with to our psychiatrist regarding a review of medicine. Hope this helps.
