I am 53 year old diabetic since 7 year taking insulin 10 unit lantus for one year and one tablet zitamat plus at morning and glycomet gp2 at evening before meal, but my sugar is not under control. Its 220 fasting and 245 pp. My weight is also get down 52 kg from 65 kg. Height is 5'-3" pl give advise for weight gain and sugar control.

From the details given it is clear that present treatment is not able to control the glucose levels. There is a need to give a closer look at dosage of different drugs being used, dietary pattern and extent of daily exercise. When glucose levels are uncontrolled, there is a considerable amount of glucose lost in the urine, leading to tiredness and weight loss. Hence there is a need to re- look at over all treatment.
