I am currently on three antidepressants for ocd and depression. I changed my doctor and he advised me to quit two and stay on only one. I'm 50% improved because of the meds .i'm in the process of cutting down over a period of two months as prescribed by the doctor. One night I was very tired and slept without taking my meds. I woke up midnight feeling really happy and joyful. Does this mean it is better to slowly remove all the antidepressants? I'm experiencing a lot of side effects. I've had a major relapse changing from fludac to daxid.(initially when I was on only one med) so I was prescribed four antidepressants one by one over a period of 6 months. And here I am 50% okay and experiencing side effects. What are your suggestions? Can quitting all the meds on doctors supervision a good choice? Or is it very risky? Please suggest me i'm having a really bad time. Thank you in advance.
