Sir, mometasone is a steroid cream, prolonged application of which causes thinning of skin, which can be permanent if not treated properly. Apart from thinning of skin it can cause many other skin problems like excessive growing of hair, itching and acneiform eruptions (pimple) like bumps to name a few. I suggest you immediately stop applying it and consult a qualified dermatologist who has done post graduate in dermatology after completing mbbs to get proper treatment. For now just apply any good moisturizer. Hope it helps.
