I am 24 years old female. I take ciplar 10 mg whenever I feel palpitations. Is it ok to take that medication the way I have been taking? And also I noticed when ever I take the medication I have swollen ankles.

The medication you talking works for it but before that, you should rule out all the causes of palpitations, especially heart-related. Cardiac arrythmias can cause palpitations so first do cardiac work up and do take medicines.
