My mother is 82 years old. Was diagnosed with diabetes at 82 when her sugar levels shot to 600. Now on medicines diamicron 60 mgconce daily, under 5 mg once daily cetapin 500 twice daily and insulin eglucent 50 pen 17 units in the morning and 10 units at night. Her sugar readings still vary and her main issue is hunger pangs at m8night. Her sugar is stable at night. What cam be the reason of this hunger pangs.
