Hi, I have developed puffy and soft gums. which when pressed blood comes out of it. the gums almost in the entire mouth have become soft and cause problems in chewing. Sometimes the pain travels to the cheeks. The problem has started from a tooth on which root canal to done and the cap fitted.

Hello, if the gums are swollen in a particular region where the tooth is root canal treated and crown is placed it is because of food deposit between the tooth and the gums and that area needs deep cleaning and after that you have to maintain the oral hygeine. Rest if its generalised in all your mouth than either it could be because of deposits which requires geneal or deep cleaning or it could be because of any deficiency or any allergy. Visit a dentist thanks.
