Dear sir, I am 50 years, having diabetes from last 15 years. My fasting blood sugar is 182. Taking glycomet gp3 850 mg morning & evening before food & janumet 50/1000 mg after breakfast once in a day from last 3 years. Totally there is no erection in my penni. Hello, Thanks for the query. As you have diabetes for last 15 years, plus I am really not aware how well it has been controlled all these years. Having fasting glucose of 182 mg, means glucose levels are not in good control. Uncontrolled high glucose level in the blood can cause multiple long term complications particularly affecting microvasculature (small blood vessels) . Leading to retinal damage, erectile dysfunction and peripheral nerve damage. Even in fairly well controlled diabetes ED is a quite often seen complication. This can not be reversed, even if you achieve a strict glucose control. But achieving a very good glucose control will not allow further deterioration of the condition. Since you are already having this condition please check your eyes for ruling out retinal involvement. You may discuss the issue with your diabetoloist and follow his advise. Drugs like PDE -V inhibitors like Sildenafil may be beneficial. Thanks.
