My father went through a spine surgery under a neurosurgeon for l4-5, l5-s1 decompression on 29th March 2019. Neurosurgeons did their best and surgery was successful. During operation, csf got leaked but doctors sealed that properly. Now (2nd april) my father is experiencing severe pain in both legs and hips. Fever ranges from 100 to 103. Cbc and urine tests are normal. My neurosurgeon advised combiflam for fever and gabapin for pain. My home town is around 180 kms from the hospital. Please suggest if I should consult any local neurosurgeon or continue to follow the current prescription?
