Is daxid and sertraline ip one and the same? I am taking daxid 50 mg once a day. Since I am away from home I bought sertraline ip and taking it. Are they one and the same? Please let me know. Thank you. Sam.

Yes sertraline is the name of the drug. Daxid is a brand of sertraline.

Daxid is far superior as it come from reputed pfizer, but there are generic advocates who say they are the same. It is like 24k gold and 18k gold. Both are gold only. You make a choice.
