Is buspar a good med for anxiety? And what are the side effects? I have tried clonazepam but I am not sure if I am building tolerance to it. Lately I am so focused on my breathing and it makes me feel bad. How can I break this habit?

Buspar is a very weak anxiolytic. As you said rightly clonazepam can be taken for short periods and on a longer run leads to tolerance and dependence. Ssri or snri group of medications treat the underlying anxiety disorder along with cognitive behavioral therapy. Consult a psychiatrist for proper remedy. All the best.
