I am suffering from depression since 3 years my doctor prescribed me clomipramine 25 mg and risperidone 6 mg along with lithium 900 mg so due to long use of clomipramine I was diagnosed with drug induced hypo mania now told me to stop clomipramine so yesterday I took 1/4th part of 25 mg clomipramine tablet now im experiencing nausea and coming problems so my question is how long it will take for clomipramine to leave my system and when do I stop experiencing withdrawal symptoms.

Dear Lybrate-User, you may be suffering from schizoaffective disorder - may not be just depression. Since you are on lithium as mood stabiliser, your mania may not be induced by clomipramine. It might be in the course of the disorder itself. Since you are in hypomanic phase, you don't need clomipramine. You can stop 25 mg fully. Nausea and "coming problems" may not withdrawal since you took 1/4 tablet the previous day.
