Hi sir/madam, I am suffering from chronic bumps and itchiness on the skin. The skin bumps/hives appear mostly at night and last for more than 24 hour if I don't take cetrizine tab. It has been 2 years since I am facing this problem. Apart from itching I also get fungal/skin infection very often. I have consulted few physicians but the condition still persists, they usually prescribe me antifungal cream and capsules which only reduce the symptoms for a few days. Please suggest how I can rid of it.

You are probably suffering from what dermatologist call urticaria. Common causes are food allergy, infection or drugs taken for some condition. It presents with itching resulting in formation of red rashes which we call hives or wheals. Although in most cases cause remains unknown in spite of a thorough search. It can be treated with medicines so that you do not get any new hives. The treatment should be prolonged until it resolves which usually takes 1 to 6 months. Please contact me through online consult option for further details and treatment.
