I have anxiety disorder especially in public speaking. My profession involves talking to group of people and giving presentations, but I always try to skip it or shorten the talk. I have experienced severe shivering once I gave a talk to a large group of people. After that I try to avoid such situations. But it has affected my career and I am not able to grow in my profession instead I go down. I have tried medications like lonazep, betacap and zosert. But nothing worked for me. I spent my days in job fearing about embarrassment among my colleagues. Many occasions I have experienced the same symptoms again. Negative thoughts come automatically when I hear about talking in public and heart starts beating faster. It gets even worse just before the speech so that I stop myself from the situation. Kindly tell what I can do to be confident and perform better.
