Which ssri can be taken concomitantly with paroxetine for anxiety and dysphoria. Patient is on paroxetine but we need an ssri to augment the mood level. Already tried vilazodone. Are there any antidepressants (ssri) which do not interact with paroxetine, such as prozac and zoloft and the like.

Paroxetine is an ssri and should not be given with another from the same class.

Paroxetine by itself is an ssri, kindly consult an experienced psychiatrist and it is wise not to meddle with the medications, as there is risk of serotonin syndrome and others. All the best.
