I have multiple lipoma (total 12 as of now) in upper torso region (above waist below shoulder, front n back). All these are painful. 2 are bigger than others (1 cm). Rest are pea size or smaller. 1 is there since 10 years. But in last 1 year, count has grown from 1 to 12. Ultrasound and fnac confirmed lipoma. As per doctor, these should not be painful but problem is that all 12 are hard, do not move and painful to touch. Can these be neurofibroma or it is correctly diagnosed as lipoma? How to get these treated? What are chances of liposarcoma? I'm 32 year old, 6.1 feet tall male. Take hypertension medicine (telma40). Weight 88 kg. Additionally, have low back pain since last 8 years, suspected spondyloarthropathy (1 mri gave mild inflammation in si joints while other mri after 6 months denied).

The fnac should clearly diagnose if it is neurofibroma or lipoma and if you have doubts, you do the second checkup in another institution where another pathologist will see the fnac.
