Hello, my tsh is 4.06, t3 76 and t4 8. I am on thyronorm 25 mcg. I found out that I am pregnant. Please advise should I continue the same dose or should I change?

Hello. Thyroid hormone requirement increases in pregnancy especially in the first half, our aim in pregnancy should be to keep tsh less than 2.5.you need to increase the dose to 50 and measure tsh every 4 weeks especially in first half of pregnancy to adjust the dose.

Hi, u need to consult a gynecologist and they will repeat the tsh levels and may change the dose of thyronorm depending on tsh levels
