I am being diabetic from past 24 years I was taking euclide m another doctor advised me to take glycomet gp 3/850 I am in confusion which one to use kindly advice.

Hi Lybrate User, euclide m contains gliclazide and metformin. Glycomet gp contains glimepiride and metformin. Both gliclazide and glimipiride belong to the same class of drugs. Depending on which one gives you a better control, we need to choose. You may send me your fasting and post prandial values.

You have not mentioned your blood sugar fasting, pp and hba1c report. It is better to start with first one as it contains two medicines and second contsins three. Monitor blood sugar and keep in touch with your doctor.
