I was prescribed olsar 20 but the chemist gave olmesar as substitute. I am under treatment for thyroid and I take eltroxin 25 mg. Is it fine to take olmesar?

Hello, thanks for the query. The tablet mentioned (both brands) is used to treat high blood pressure. Doctor must have prescribed it for high bp. So please do take it. It does not have any interaction with levothyroxine. Please remember thyroxine tablet needs to be taken on empty stomach early morning and nothing to be taken fro over 1 hour. Thanks.
