My aunt is a software engineer and she works for almost 8 hours a day. She has been saying that her taste buds are not working from past 3 weeks. She is able to sense pulp, sour, butter tastes better up to some extent, but she is completely unable to sense the tastes related to salt and chilli powder. I was told that usually new taste buds gets generated for every 2 weeks. Since we already crossed 2 weeks, I am just curious to know what might have happened and my worry is, the problem serious? It would be great if someone can suggest to me what has happened and any remedy we can follow at home to get our problem solved will be appreciated.
