I am a patient of herpes zoster doctor has prescribed me tablet omnacortil 20 mg once in a day for three days along with tablet valcivir 1000 one tab twice a day for 5 days maxmala 75 mg twice a day above these I want to skip tablet omnacortil 20 what is your opinion sir.

Why do you want to skip omnacortil? Because it is a steroid? Omnacortil can be taken for short duration, dose too is not high. Do not stop it abruptly if you have taken it for more than a week maxmala can cause sleep/drowsiness if taken in morning. Once a day at night should be enough.
