Hello nexito is usually prescribed to treat depression and anxiety. If you are feeling better, nexito can be gradually stopped under medical supervision. You may not tolerate stopping suddenly. Try cutting down to half-a-tablet for about a month. If you continue to feel ok, then cut down to quarter tablet for another month and then you can stop. If you develop withdrawal symptoms at any stage, go back to the previous dose and continue for some more time.

Hello friend, good that you are seeking a help here. Don't stop medication without consulting your treating doctor as it will cause withdrawal symptoms. Moreover, just be aware that medicine are just one part any psychological treatment as they give relief only to the symptoms. However if you notice, the root cause behind all your emotions is is your anxious or overwhelming thoughts. Until you work on alternative solution to control or manage such thoughts, you will be recovering completely. Be positive. We generally recommend both medicine and psychotherapy or non medicine treatment plan for better results. Consult a psychologist directly or online to assess your suitation and get suitable alternative solution like few lifestyle changes, mindset changes techniques, relaxation techniques, dietary changes, excersise, self therapies along with counseling support. Dear Monica, You can stop 5 mg dose (lowest dose) at any time. Before that please think of your discomfort and many problems those are not resolved. Please undergo cognitive behaviour therapy fully (may take 5-6 months) before stopping nexito

You can decrease the dose of nexito 5 mg to half for about 10 day sand stop the medication. However it is advisable to do so under the expertise of your psychiatrist who prescribed you the medication. If you are comfortable doing so by consulting with us online, you are most certainly welcome to do so. It seems like you have tried but are uncomfortable due to "many problems" that you only mention but do not elaborate. You can elaborate with a consultation. Look forward to hearing from you. If you need help with booking an appointment online with me on this website either text, audio, or video appointment for a confidential and private consultation you may do so by contacting the help desk of Lybrate.
