I am prescribed nexito forte 0-0-1, for depression/anxiety. As there will be dullness in the mornings, I intend to take (of course, after the consent of my doctor only) sertraline 100 mg 1-0-0. Both nexito and sertraline belong to the same class of anti-depressants viz ssris. Are two scars permissible or are they contra-indicated? Please confirm.

No, you can't change your medication like that. Not all ssri work in the same way. Tell your psychiatrist if you have any questions, then take medicine as he prescribes you. Good luck.
Ask Free Question
Different ssris have different indications. In some patients one ssri is preferred and in other patients a different one depending on patient profile, medical comorbidities, psychiatric symptoms even with same disease and nature of job, timings of job etc. You cannot just replace or add according to your wish. It's better to consult and take medication accordingly.
Ask Free Question
The question that you seem to ask seems to be one that needs to be answered with a bit more information. Nexito forte can be optimized before starting any other medication. Optimization would mean that you might not need any other medication or that you might need them depending on the result of the up tapering of the dose and your response to such actions with depressive/anxiety symptoms.
