I am taking prazopress 5 mg bd and yet at home bp reading by orion instrument shows 194/95 and evenings after 12 hour interval 209/98. At six hours interval the reading shows downward trend as170/92. But a correct estimation of how the medicine is doing good to me throughout the day is not known. I am a diabetic with hypertension. Cabg done. Any suggestion how to regularise bp for better.

Please get an abpm done to get your proper bp recordings so that your meds can be adjusted properly! plus if you are a cardiac pt with diabetes then that's not the best hypertension med for you.
