I am suffering from anxiety from last 2 yrs, taking duzela 30 mg twice a day. Anxiety was causing ibs and joint pains. But now that all subsided. I have a friend who is very close to me from 8 years during all these situations she was with me and because of job change I have to different city and now I am constantly worrying about her. As we are living in different cities I can not able to see her that sometimes make me worry more about her. But due to some reason she is not talking to me. But my mind is thinking and worrying about her and sometimes it causes left hand pain. I showed it to Dr. and done ecg also but it is due to stress only. Pain remain 2 to 4 days and then slowly subsided. I tried not thinking about her but failed. 6 to 7 days I can manage but after that I started repeatedly calling her and getting worried. She is not supporting me in this so that I feels restless. Can not getting what to do? Only one person is affecting me so much as I love her so much. Please help. I need guidance.

We are glad that your anxiety is being successfully treated with duzela 30 mg twice daily for the last 2 years which is also keeping your joint pains and ibs (irritable bowel syndrome) under control. We also understand that social supports are important for helping with anxiety or any other mental condition as such. However, it seems like that has been significantly missing for the last few days and you are missing that support system since she was there for you for 8 years during your phase of endurance. Also since the cause of pain is attributed to the social cause since other reasons have been ruled out by the doctor, it is strongly suggested that you obtain counseling from a qualified psychologist or a clinical counselor. The other way you could help yourself is to use other technological ways to reach out to her and talk to her like you did previously although it might not be as good as an in-person dialogue. Video calls or voice calls to talk about your condition and other issues, might help reduce your distress. I believe you might also need to consult a psychiatrist since medication changes either in dose or in the kind of medication is appropriate. Look forward to hearing from you. If you need help with booking an appointment online with me on this website either text, audio, an appointment for a confidential and private consultation you may do so by contacting the help desk of Lybrate.

It seems that you are very emotionally attached to her. There might be some reason why she's not keeping contact with you. Try to contact her through common friends. Sometimes stress causes pain symptoms in our body. Try to stay relaxed. Focus on your own work. Good luck.
