My son has been prescribed mirtaz 15 mg and he is already been taking qutipin and divalproex sodium extended release 500 mg for over 3 months. Is it safe for him? He has struggled with drug addiction for the last 5 years.

He must be having depression and anxiety symptoms with disturbed sleep. For which mirtaz was prescribed. Talk to your psychiatrist if the drug doesn't suit him. Good luck.
