I have read about the sinclair method and naltima (naltrexone) I have not started taking the medication yet but would like to know if I am able to still drink as per the sinclair method while on the medication?

Dear Julian, Yes, you will be able to drink alcohol with naltima. If you continue to take both naltima and alcohol, you will not enjoy alcohol in about 3 months time. If you continue for 6-9 months, you will not have any craving for alcohol. Taking alcohol may feel like drinking water. So, start taking naltima safely. You can, you need to take naltrexone or nalmfene one hour before your first drink of the day for rest of your life as long as you continue to drink. Also try to more spiritual along with tsm that will be more effective.
