No, the dosage of the medicine needs to be adjusted according to the latest reports. You have to understand the problem and it's management. Kindly read about thyroid problems (hypothyroidism) from the internet and follow the instructions. It is important to maintain a healthy lifestyle and also take the appropriate treatment as suggested by your doctor. Regular review by the doctor will help to monitor the improvement. You can also add homeopathy which is safe and gentle (helps natural healing) and can be taken with other medicines. You can contact me for a private consultation.

Hello, Thanks for the query. Once treatment with Levothyroxine is begun, then TSH should be checked after 6 weeks to see whether desired level is achieved. With adequate dosage TSH should come between 3 to 4 mU/L. Then same dosage needs to be continued. I do not understand what do you mean by 1 more month is left?. Because it is a lifelong treatment. Because Hypothyroidism is a hormone (Thyroxine) deficiency disorder. Hence that hormone needs to be supplemented every day for life time. If you have any questions please do come back. Thanks.
