My son (2.9 years) suffers from stool problem. He doesn't empty his stomach unless the syrup Laxobix is given. This has been going on since 7-8 months. I don't know how to bring him back to natural way.

Hello. Constipation is a common problem in toddlers and preschool children. It is secondary to feeding habits. If diet is poor in fibre containing food stuff then motions will b hard. Try increasing green leafy vegetables and fruits such as banana, apple with peel, oranges in diet. Avoid bakery products. Excess of milk is also not good. Wheat flour should b used without sieving, so as to provide fibres.
