I am 87 years old. I am mentally quite active and physically too fine. I get oedema in my feet (upper area) now and then. This has happened even earlier years but I would like to know what I can do to prevent this oedema. On the advice of nephrologist etc I am taking flotral 10 for the same. I am also a hypertensive patient and take embetta xr 25 mg in the morning and embetta 50 mg at night along with ecopspirinav 150 as advised by the doctor. Since oedema may be related to kidney I have got the kft and simple urine analysis done. While urine analysis is fine, there is slight increase in urea and creatinine. Suggest some remedy.

Elevated creatinine suggests renal involvement, visit a nephrologist. Also need to stop embeta as it is not suited in kidney disease. Also visit a cardiologist with echo and other relevant reports.
