Lybrate-userji I can understand the challenges you are facing, memory loss is a very common symptom of a condition known as a generalised anxiety disorder (gad) which affects millions of people. It can be extremely distressing to cope with memory loss and anxiety, but if you can find ways to treat the anxiety itself by psychotherapy along with medicine, you should find that your memory improves too. It's the hormone released during stress, which is why those with severe anxiety (and excessive stress) are more at risk for developing memory loss problems. Numerous studies have confirmed that cortisol contributes to memory loss, especially short term memory loss, because it is a toxin to the cells of the brain. Try this, include physical activity in your daily routine. Physical activity increases blood flow to your whole body, including your brain. Stay mentally active. Socialize regularly. Get organized. Sleep well. Eat a healthy diet. Manage chronic conditions. When to seek help for memory loss. Keep a small note pad and pen, writedown important things also teach your brain to remember thing by repeating it eg im keeping my keys on the tv (repeat it three times). Under the supervison of pychetrist/logist try to reduce drugs intake by withdrawl therpy. Practice gratitude this gives self satisfaction and helps combat gad. Im available for any further help, wish you a happy life ahead.
