I'm a 30 years old male suffering from hypertension. I take telsartan 20 mg once a day in the morning. I recently got a health check done and the report said there is protein present in my urine. Is this dangerous? What can I do to get rid of the protein in urine? By bun and creatinine levels are normal.

Protein in urine should be quantified further as to how much it is wether microscopic or macroscopic, if possible you can get a 24 hr urine protein anaylsis. neways you need to continue taking your tablet and if needed increase its dose to prevent hypertensive nephropathy which is high bp effevt on kidneys..
