Hello, I am 25 have a problem of masturbation I do it for 3 to 4 times daily and I have a habit of smoking 3 cigarettes per day. How to get out of this can you please help me.

Hi, your first question of how to get out of this is the first step which you have already taken. The second step would be 2. Go out and talk with people and observe what others doing since you are out you are more prone to not doing masturbation/smoking since you cannot do both of them in public. 3. Find out your passion and try to do that or whatever you do, do it little bit more interesting so that you can do it with full mind in it. When you do such things there is high probability that you will forget your habits. Anyway it may prop up again but when there is back sliding just accept and continue doing this step. 4. Whenever the thought of impulse raise to smoke/masturbate just train yourself to do something else and that activity must be pleasing you. For example if you like to hear music, you can try hearing music whenever you get an impulse to do old habits. Yes in this step also there might be failures on the way but do not loose hope. Appreciate and motivate yourself and keep moving. 5. Do not go on further analysing much. Just start implementing these steps at the earliest and I will advise not to fix any dates or time like "i will start following these steps from next month or next week or tomorrow or after 10 pm" like that.
