I'm 175 cm 92 kg female. I carried a very heavy box and felt pain, electric on my right whole leg. I have consulted orthopaedic doctor and diagnosed slipped disc (lumbar l4-l5) after xray. Doctor ask me to eat medicine and see how the result will be. Was prescribed: ketoprofen 2.5% gel 30g, orphenadrine 35 mg/paracet 450 mg, gabapentin 300 mg, vit b1 b6 b12 for my symptoms. However the pain shoots down to my right leg very unbearable and i'm unable to stand/walk too long even after taking the medicine for 2 weeks. Doctor only suggest mri 1 month later for me to decide if I want operate, and didn't suggest other solution. Taken mri 2 days ago and waiting for result 1 week later. What are the solution to this case to lessen the pain or fixed my slipped disc? The pain worsen at night why? Due to pain I cannot really do anything: work/walk/stand.
