My left hamstring is weak and starts hurting when I take a long walk. I have been doing stretching exercises regularly for the past two weeks to strengthen it because I need to trek 200 km on high altitudes for an assignment at the beginning of next month. It has started hurting again today. My question is this: can I continue with my exercises and would it reduce the likelihood of serious injury during the assignment?
