I was prescribed amisulpride 50 mg and alprazolam+proposal for 2 moths for anxiety and tremors in april to may then gradually tapered for 1 month ,then I stop taking medicine as doctor told me after 1 month of discontinuation ,i couldn't sleep for 2 days ,my heart was racing ,eye pain ,i was in very bad condition, slowly some symptoms are fading ,my question is will these withdrawal symptoms ever go and how long will it take to get back to normal.

Dear lybrate-user, yes, the withdrawal symptoms will go away, but whether your anxiety is coming back? Also, reduce the amount of tea/coffee/alcohol, if you drink, and smoking, if you smoke.

Symptoms generally resolve after a short period of time. You may take of some genera supportivel unani health exilerent. Keep yourself engage do not think too much of withdrawl and do not co relate every situation to it. Be positive. Good luck!
