My wife got a traumatic injury to her teeth while pressing a bone of red meat. She had severe pain on a particular tooth and the gum inflamed. Used amox+clauv625 for 6 days and diclofenac once for 6 days. Now no pain but a little inflammation there. Should I continue it any more?/or other medicines. Pl. Advise me.

Hello, Lybrate-user, with the complaints, it seems to be that, there may be gum issue or fracture of teeth. This is to be decided by clinical evaluation by the dentist. Pls, stop the medication, As you 've already completed the course, no other medications needed. Instead, visit the dentist n get it checked, maybe scaling would be required in that area, to remove the infective agent. Pls, seek the correct info on treatment by visiting the dentist.
