Glad to hear out your problem on this forum. It seems like your psychiatrist or specialist doctor gave you a medication prochlorperazine for bppv or benign paroxysmal positional vertigo and you took them faithfully. It also seems like you developed acute dystonia and akathesia. If you stopped the medications immediately after having been told to by the doctor you will start to feel better. Different people react differently to these medications although these medications are extremely beneficial to those who do not experience side effects. Unfortunately if you have had side effects you may need to wait for a few weeks for these symptoms to go away. I hope you continue to consult your doctor. If you need second opinion, you are certainly welcome to do so privately. Look forward to hearing from you.
