In controlling diabetes (blood glucose) drugs do play a major part, but equally important are dietary restriction, taking exact amount of calories and doing regular exercise to maintain near normal body weight. As I can see that you are already on multiple drugs including Insulin, hence, it is very important to give a closer look at your diet, exercise and weight.
