No. Tripride 1 contains 3 medicines and gluconorm g1 contains 2.you have to take pioglitazone separately in tha same dose if you want to take gluconorm g1.

Hello, thanks for the query. Tablet tripride 1 is a combination glimiperide, metformin & pioglitazone where as gluconorm is only glimiperide so there is a considerable difference in the medications. This can lead to improper control (high blood glucose). Hence, better to stick to same drugs. Since nothing is mentioned about your earlier or present gluose levels (fasting & pp) and hba1c%, I can not really comment. Please remember one has to maintain fasting glucose < 100 mg or closer to 100 mg, pp 150 to 170 mg & hba1c% < 6/8%. If you have any questions please do come back.
