Hello doctor. I'm 36 year old hv hyperpigmentation. I try lots of different cream but no good result at all and m using solasafe sunscreen sfp 50. I would like to try demelan cream but scare that it may get worsen my face. Please suggest me a good and chemical free cream. Thank you.

Hello Lybrate-user. You should continue using sunscreen which is the most important factor. And you can use a good depigmenting cream. Demelan is a good otc cream but it would be advisable to start treatment after consulting a dermatologist near you since you may need something stronger initially. Demelan is good for maintenance after the lesions lighten.
