I am using carbatol cr 300 for 10 years. I am now 43. I have no problem now. But I have been addicted and the medicine is now not available in the market. Should I minimise the power of medicine and how much and what is the alternative of this medicine which is easily available in the market.

There are lot of brands of carbamazepine available in the market. It is one of the cheapest mood stabilizers/ anti-epileptic medications available it depends on why you were started the medicine for, in the first place. Yes, it can be gradually tapered, again, depending on your condition. But always better to consult a psychiatrist or the doctor who started it in the first place.
